CLINICAL READY™ CURRICULUM
Performance-Validated Dental Assisting Curriculum Built for Real Practice Readiness.
Clinical Ready™ is SMV’s premium curriculum system for dental assisting schools. It trains students through real chairside skills, validated clinical competencies, documented remediation, and practice-based performance standards before they move forward.
Included with Premium + California Premium Subscription Paths
Why dentists subscribe
Lower Entry. Less Pressure. More Control.
1
Lower Upfront Barrier
Traditional school launch models can require large upfront fees of $30k or more before a practice ever enrolls a student, other franchise-style royalty costs, or per-student fees. SMV’s subscription model gives qualified dentists a much lower-entry pathway with activation, monthly support, and annual renewal instead of a massive upfront barrier.
2
No Royalties or Tuition Share
SMV does not charge royalties, tuition-share percentages, or per-student SMV fees for the core school subscription while your subscription remains active and in good standing. That means your school operates under a predictable subscription model. For most schools, the annual break-even point for the SMV activation fee and monthly subscription fees can be reached with approximately two to three enrolled students per year.
3
No False Security.
SMV does not require a large upfront investment backed by complicated bond language or hard-to-collect protection bond promises. We also do not promise guaranteed 12-student or 24-student enrollments. Instead, SMV gives dentists a lower-entry subscription model with Clinical Ready™ curriculum, state licensure, student platform access, and marketing systems designed to help build real enrollment momentum without the gimmicks.
4
Clinical Ready™ Advantage
Premium and California Premium include Clinical Ready™ — SMV’s practice-based curriculum built around validated competencies, documented remediation, instructor support, and real chairside readiness.
5
Student Enrollment Systems
SMV supports the enrollment side through Demo Day™ strategy, lead-handling workflows, local marketing preparation, orientation guidance, and school marketing coordination where applicable.
6
One Launch Ecosystem
Instead of separate vendors, scattered documents, and disconnected systems, SMV brings the school launch process into one ecosystem: curriculum, platforms, documents, licensure pathway support, enrollment systems, onboarding, and implementation guidance.
Starting Is Simple
Simple Start. Structured Launch. Lower Upfront Risk.
The SMV subscription process is designed to be direct, practical, and easy to begin.
You do not have to start with a large upfront investment, guess your way through school setup, or try to figure out state requirements alone. SMV gives qualified dentists a clear subscription pathway that moves from plan selection to agreement, activation, intake, onboarding, and launch preparation.
1. Choose Your Subscription
Students learn the clinical concept, vocabulary, sequence, and safety expectations.

2. Watch the Standard
Standardized pass/fail competency gates with observe-only enforcement — no coaching during validation.
3. Drill the Skill
Students repeat the skill in structured lab practice until they can perform with consistency.

4. Correct the Error
Missed standards are documented, corrected, drilled, and re-attempted.
5. Validate Readiness
Students must pass the un-corrected performance & competency gate before moving forward.
The Three Paths
Choose the Curriculum That Fits Your Plan
Both tracks deliver a fully structured 12-week program. Standard is the proven traditional academic path. Clinical Ready™ is the only validation-based dental assisting curriculum in the United States.
Traditional Academic Track
Proven 12-week academic curriculum focused on knowledge acquisition. Online theory modules, graded instructional labs, observational clinical internship, and a comprehensive final exam. Best for practices with a strong internal training team.
âś“ Online theory with self-paced modules
âś“ Instructional labs with graded competency
âś“ Clinical internship (observation-oriented)
âś“ Traditional grading scale + comprehensive final exam
Clinical Ready™ Track
The only validation-based dental assisting curriculum in the United States. Students don't advance because they tried hard or tested well — they advance because they can execute reliably under real clinical constraints. Pass/fail gates. Observe-only validation. Validated before externship.
âś“
Pass/fail performance gates
âś“
Observe-only validation (no coaching allowed)
âś“ Documented remediation + re-attempt protocol
âś“ 6-station final practical exam
âś“
Instructor certification program
4
Reproduce Until Stable
No one-time passes. Skills must be reproducible across multiple attempts before they are considered validated.
5
Final Practical Validation
A comprehensive final practical exam covering all core competencies before the student is cleared for externship placement.
The 12-Week Program
